Bf 110C-4 of 9./ZG 26, forced down in an English public garden after an emergency landing on September 4, 1940. Damaged by RAF fighters during a sortie over southern England, the twin-engine heavy fighter came to rest among neatly trimmed hedges -a surreal contrast to the chaos of the skies above. The crew was captured shortly after landing.
